How does concentration speed up the rate of reaction?

The objective is to see how the concentration of a solution can speed a reaction. We'll dissolve magnesium ribbon using HCl, and we'll see if there's any difference in speed of dissolving the magnesium ribbon if we use different amount of HCl in the experiment.
