My preferred method of aiming is instinct (focus on target). Be the arrow. When shooting field archery, yes everything past 30 yards I gap shoot. When hunting, I don’t take shots past 30.
Have been shooting archery in the backyard since the 80s. Competed and shot with some icons in this space (not here to brag or name drop). Those times are special to me. Currently a member of three clubs in two states.
Enjoy traveling this path with others… doesn’t matter if you are beginning or a master… it’s the shared journey and companionship of traditional archers and bow hunters. There are wonderful professionals in this space (i.e. Jake Kaminski)… that’s not me.
