This channel aims to be a resource for survivors of brain injury and stroke (brain attack) in terms of support and advice, both for the survivors themselves and their families. According to the World Stroke Organisation, there will be 15 million people suffering strokes, globally, this year. Of those, 5 million will die and another 5 million will have some form of severe disability either physical, mental or both. Stroke can affect walking, talking, speech, balance, coordination, vision, spatial awareness, swallowing, fatigue, bladder control and bowel control, to name a few.
