My name is David Doyle. The other lads are Tulio de Jesus, Bernard Burke, Frank McMahon. We are very fortunate to have been trained under the expert guidance of Matt McConway who has nearly 30 years experience working on mountain paths. We have been working together on the path on Croagh Patrick since December 2020. All year round, in all weathers using only hand tools and using only materials we find on the mountain. No mortar etc. Volunteers from Mountaineering Ireland join us weekly to help out.

The Stakeholders group was established to address the rapidly deteriorating condition of the path on Croagh Patrick and to conduct habitat restoration works.
