Community Law Program, Inc. (CLP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation formed in 1990 by members of the St. Petersburg Bar Association to serve the civil legal needs of lowincome and disadvantaged individuals.
Over the years, CLP has recruited a panel of very dedicated volunteer attorneys in Pinellas County, Florida to provide free legal services (pro bono representation) to thousands of people in need of civil legal assistance each year. In addition to providing individual pro bono representation, we offer a number of free legal advice clinics ranging from bankruptcy to divorce forms. These practical clinics are designed to educate and empower those who represent themselves in court (pro se).
