Dara Mormile, Brooklyn Chapter Representative for the Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation. My mission is to connect families and those affected by esophageal cancer. My father passed away of EC in 2010 and I am currently representing the Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation. I coordinate a 5k run/walk every year in September dedicated to EC and those lost to the disease. There are no screenings, no mandatory tests and very little funding is put towards this cancer. Please subscribe and help us fight this lesserknown cancer, which is often caught in later stages when it's too late to effectively treat and patients often die within 5 years of diagnosis.
