Darren J. Lipomi is a Professor in the Department of NanoEngineering and Programs in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at UC San Diego. He earned his PhD in chemistry from Harvard University in 2010 (with George Whitesides) and was an Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Stanford University from 20102012 (with Zhenan Bao). He currently directs a research group at UC San Diego that works in the areas of soft electronics for solar cells, biosensors, and artificial touch.
