My ultimate goal is to encourage people of color to see ourselves thriving in institutions that we have traditionally been underrepresented in. I aim to ensure that the doors opened for me are left opened even wider for those who will come next.
I am fascinated by a camera’s ability to capture the deepest intricacies of the human mind. Filmmaking is empowering. It allows me to create visuallycaptivating and emotionallystirring stories. What’s most fascinating is a camera’s ability to be the tool that helps me continuously learn.
