Hi everyone! I'm Paul Day, Professor of Geology and Environmental Sciences and I want to welcome you to my Earth and Space Sciences education channel! This channel hosts education and lecture videos I have produced for ANYONE who desires to learn. You don't need to take a college class to learn geology, environmental science, or physics (though you are always welcome to enroll in my classes!), you can learn right here for free.

I designed this channel to function like a MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) and is inspired by the online educational success of EdX as well as the magnificent education I received from the department of Earth and Space Sciences at UCLA. Hence the name of the channel: Earth and Space Sciences X! So far the feedback and response from the public has been wonderful. Thousands of people study with me each month and I truly hope that you will be one of them.
