As a preteen and early teen living in south Chicago (in the 1950s) my life was on a bicycle. it was not a means to an end, it was an end in itself. During the summer I lived on my bike. Those were the days of the 26 inch balloon tires. We did not understand the health benefits, nor did we care. It was a fun, joyful way of life. We would ride the hiking trails in the forest preserve just outside the city. We were Mountain Biking years before Mountain Biking existed (shows my age 80). Now at my age the ebike has brought all that back, except for the Mountain Biking. I want to encourage other "Super Seniors" biking, the fun and joy is back with endless designs of ebikes to fit your needs.
