Today's traveler is more cost conscious than ever. Long gone are the days of staying in sleezy roadside motels or paying through the nose for some fancy hotel you only sleep in. Their solution is the return to car camping. Some do it with a tent, some a truck, and some a hammock. We started out in our 2005 Dodge Durango and recently upgraded to a 2008 Ford Econoline Van.

Like many in our generation, we started late and we're trying to make up for lost time. But, like most everyone else, we work fulltime.
