Welcome to Gypsy Dreamer Quilts! I'm using this space to share some videos of various techniques I use to quilt on my HandiQuilter Sweet Sixteen sitdown machine, as well as some technique videos for making One Block Wonder and Hexified Panel Quilts, made with 60 degree triangles.
I've been teaching quilt piecing technique classes and beginning free motion quilting classes for about 5 years. I enjoy sharing my passion and love when I see my students get that "light bulb" moment as they learn new ways to approach their projects. My quilting experience has been built through piecing and quilting hundreds of quilts from 8x10" mug rugs to 120x120" king size quilts. Being a sitdown machine quilter, everything is customeven simple allover designs. The quilt sandwich is moved under the needle either completely free motion or using a variety of rulers.
