My experience with synesthesia completely transforms music for me as a whole and has opened a gateway to me falling down with the brilliantly unique progressive rock/metal rabbit hole. These bands put their heart and sole into creating something that's never been seen before and it pains me to see them constantly overshadowed by songs with no real substance that they could write in about 20 minutes.
