The Lake Shore Railway, is a 500 sf layout of Lionel O gauge (072) wideradius solid Trail track. There are 4 TRail main lines, including one upper level line and an 8 track Yard/engine facility. Trail was made for a short period by Lionel from 1935 to 1942. It has solid steel rails on diecast ties and is bolted together with fishplates and nuts/bolts, like real track.
Our mission is to operate as many trains, by as many manufacturers, covering early prewar to postwar with occasional modern era trains. Many of our videos have a theme or a story to tell.
The layout is complete in some areas, but other areas remain flexible, to be redecorated with accessories, figures and landscape to help tell a particular story, or seasonally.
