kidsguitar3 provides ad free video lessons for beginning guitarists/pianists which can be used by yourself or can be taught in a classroom. We start with 2 strings and slowly add them as you improve. I think the best thing about these guitar/piano lessons is that they are listed in a specific order. They are numbered so that you know where to start and what the next lesson is. We start with the basics and then continually add new concepts after you've mastered previous lessons.

The biggest factors in learning is to get a guitar that's easy to play, someone to teach you and to REALIZE THAT THERE'S NO QUICK WAY TO LEARN THIS INSTRUMENT OTHER THAN REGULAR PRACTICE AND TO PLAY FOR YEARS!!!!! Join a band and play for others. This will make you practice more. Also, pay attention to what other musicians around you do so you can learn new things from them.

I suggest playing 10 minutes a day to start. If you're ready, this is a great starting point! Let's go!
