Growing up in Texas offered Jason a multitude of hunting opportunities that he took great advantage of through his youth. After going to school in California and working in the banking industry, he longed to find a place to get back to his passion for the outdoors. In 1998, he began visiting the Big Sky country in South West Montana and found his home.
Once settled in Montana, he began looking for a rifle built to precise tolerances that could handle the rugged terrain yet be accurate enough for some of the extreme shooting the Rockies have to offer. After deciding a custom rifle was the only way to get both precision and accuracy, a friend advised him to use his Tikka T3 Lite. After one cycling of the action, Jason knew he had found the precision he was looking for. After using that same rifle to shoot a clover leaf, he had found Nirvana!
