My name is Pete and I live on a small island off the south coast of the UK. My hobby is astronomy and over the years I pursued this interest visually with several telescopes and funny things called eyepieces. I saw many small grey smudges.
Then I discovered the wonderful world of Electronic Assisted Astronomy ( EAA or EVAA ). So now, my venerable Celestron CPC800 sits alone on my decking, with an Altair Astro 294c or ZWO ASI 533mm camera attached. While I observe the universe electronically from the pleasant surroundings of my home office.
The universe is no longer grey smudges but filled with vibrant colour, detail and a multitude of faint destinations to visit. This channel records my adventures into the hobby of EAA, wherever it leads...
