Purdue University's College of Veterinary Medicine, located on the West Lafayette, Indiana campus, is one of only 32 North American colleges of veterinary medicine and the only veterinary college in Indiana. Since the first class of DVMs enrolled in 1959, the college has produced thousands of veterinarians and veterinary nurses/technicians who now practice in all 50 states and around the world, filling important roles in private practice, academia, government, industry, and the military.
