Rohit Marathe is a Solo Harmonium Artist par excellence, and is known for his experimental approach to the instrument. A disciple of Pt. Pramod Marathe, his love for harmonium, and devotion towards his art, makes him bring out the true essence of harmonium, as a Solo Instrument.
Also, his indepth knowledge of Vocal Music, being a disciple of Vidushi Manjiri Alegaonkar & ample experience playing with many renowned artists led to sharpen his understanding of Harmonium, as a Solo Instrument.
Rohit has also worked as a Lehra Accompanist, at the MIT Gurukul,Loni Kalbhor,Pune, under very enriching guidance of TaalYogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar & Pandit Yogesh Samsi.
His passion about the Instrument has led him to push his creative boundaries and create aesthetic harmonium compositions.
Rohit has developed his unique style and repertoire for Harmonium Solo Presentations for which he has received much critical acclaim.
