After a lifetime of health challenges, my weight reached a high of 261 pounds in 2017. Weight loss surgery, VSG (Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy) and later revision surgery to RNY (Gastric Bypass) due to severe Gerd (acid reflux), helped me lose over 90 pounds, but now it’s up to me to get to my goal weight of 150 pounds. I’m 5’3 1/2, and now at 46 years old with major thyroid issues (Graves Disease), postmenopausal due to a total hysterectomy caused by Endometriosis, and now a diagnosis of Osteoporosis, losing weight has been a huge battle for a long time.
Though this is my weight loss journey, the way I see it, we’re all in this together!! ‍♀
