Sika Rlion is from Reunion Island. Lulled by the sounds of Mayola and traditional Réunionese music, she then discovered Rap, Dance Hall and Soul. Sika Rlion was discovered by taking part in Sound Systems and Open Mics, and being the best version of herself was her leitmotiv from the start, a desire that is still palpable in her music and songwriting. Sika Rlion uses her music to convey strong values, expressing herself on societal issues in both French and Creole. Reggae, Rap, Dance Hall, Sika Rlion doesn't intend to make any artistic concessions and wants her music to embody all the influences that have built her universe.
