SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital is a 195bed, notforprofit pediatric medical center that serves children from eastern Missouri, southern Illinois, from across the U.S. and from around the world. We are a teaching hospital affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine and other educational institutions.
Our Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center (certified in both Missouri and Illinois) and our Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are both the highest level designation. Other specialties include: cardiology, critical care, minimally invasive surgery, fetal surgery, oncology, sleep medicine, gastroenterology, among others.
Statewide poison control services are provided through the Missouri Poison Center. Perinatal, sports medicine and other outreach services make up a network of programs distributed throughout Missouri and Illinois to help fulfill a mission to provide for both health and safety.
