The Hollies were a popular music group, known for hits such as “I’m Alive”, "Bus Stop", "Look Through Any Window", "Carrie Ann", and "Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress)". Two school friends, Allan Clarke and Graham Nash joined three other musicians, (Eric Haydock, Vic Steele and Don Rathbone) and called themselves The Deltas. In December 1962, they changed their name to The Hollies. By August 1963, the line up was complete. Vic Steele and Don Rathbone left and were replaced by Tony Hicks and Bobby Elliott. The Hollies released four albums, until the departure of bassist Eric Haydock. His replacement was Bernie Calvert. In 1968, Graham Nash left the band and joined forces with Stephen Stills and David Crosby to from a folkrock group called Crosby, Stills & Nash. Terry Sylvester replaced Nash in 1969.
