Tibet Times, commonly known as BodKyiDusBab in Tibetan Community, established on 2nd September 1996, to fill the need for an independent press to contribute towards monitoring, uplifting and safe guarding of a democratic Tibetan society.
Today, Tibet Times plays the role of fourth pillar in Tibetan Community and helps bridge relationships between public and the authorities/organizations/offices and contributes toward promoting ideas and education on democracy, human rights and freedom of expression.
Tibet Times mission is to contribute towards establishing a sturdy foundation for a democratic Tibetan society and to preserving the Tibetan unique culture, tradition and the endangered language.
