015 Celtic Frolic Part 1

Follow
After Hours at the Commodore

Gather all, gather round, for this After Hours extravaganza featuring Edmonton's own Celtic Frolic! Get ready to be moved by the rollicking jigs, driving reels and lilting ballads, each performance a vibrant melodic and percussive celebration of a beloved folk genre.

With Bridget O'Flaherty (bodhrán) Kris Nico Gallibois (fiddle) Helena Dayal (harmonium) Dan Staples (bouzouki, mandolin, vocals) Jerome Cranston (flute, vocals) and Logan Gray (spoons, cajón), Celtic Frolic has been taking their mesmerizing blend of spirited rhythms and melodies to audiences across the province, from pubs and halls to private kitchens.

Session recorded, May 12, 2024 at The Commodore Restaurant on Jasper Ave.

Our original session, recorded back in December 2023 was lost midsession in a hard drive failure. So with a loud Celtic cheer, we proudly present 'round one' in this twoparter for your enjoyment.
