01WELLES REEL 2018

DYLAN WELLES

Folks, I'm really proud of this one. Here is a bit of all the student work I've made in the past year. I've just graduated with a BA in Media Studies, with a focus in Film & Video Production from Pacific University, Oregon. The year has taught me that sometimes you just have to get it done. Get out there and have fun.

Thank you to all the great people I've met along the way, and all the help and support I've gotten from my friends and family.

Pictured:
+ "The Storm" a short rotoscope project I made for my final in Animation Studies & Practices.
+ "The Weight I Carry" my senior capstone documentary, which will soon screen at festivals around the country (once I pick some more to submit to); about outdoor education and mental health in this modern age of depression and suicide.
+ "Falling" a short cutout animation I made with help from Anthony, Cullen, and Delaney this year in Animation Studies & Practices. See it at the Bend Film Festival this year!
+ "Night At The Office" a fun pixelation project I made with Anthony, Cullen, and Delaney. Also in the Pacific University Animation Bootcamp reel I submitted to Bend.
+ "Outdoor Pursuits 2018" a marketing video I made for 3 independent study credits this year so I could graduate. I thought it looked good!
+ "Sean Grasso AEP Day" a simple rotating star animation with wiggle I learned how to make during a demo day in animation class. S/O Sean.
+ "Fast Food" a short stopmotion video I made with Anthony, Cullen, and Delaney. Talk about finicky foods!
+ "Broken Top" another AEP project I made for animation class. I voiced it and scored it.
+ "Mark Ferguson Flamenco" (working title) a Pacific University Media Arts Production Services project that is in the works at the moment. Mark, Luis, and Ichi so talented. WOW.
+ "Aaron Bergman" (untitled pitch project) another client video for MAPS at Pacific University. The graduate program at the Hillsboro campus is developing a product that I got to help promote. Hopefully their patent clears soon so I can talk more about it! It's gonna save lives!!

To Mark, I hope you're cool with me using your guitarra. I'll clear ya soon.
