03. Sound to Syntax: Using Layers of Language to Provide Purposeful Practice

The more a reader learns about a word – its soundto spelling structure, its meaning, and how it functions in a sentence – the more fluent the reader becomes. Evidence supports the value of a multicomponent model to develop reading proficiency. This session will feature Sortegories, a webbased app based on this model, that provides purposeful practice from sound to syntax. Language Comprehenion (K 6)
