PUDDING CARAMEL CUSTARD
Ingredients
1. Milk 2 cups +1/2 cup
2. Sugar ½ cup + ½ cup
3. Egg 2
4. Cornflour/arrowroot powder/maida 2 tsp
5. Nutmeg grated /vanilla essence ½ tsp
Preparation
1. Taking ½ cup sugar in a pan add 2 tsp water. Heat on slow fire till it turns golden brown, swirling. .
2. Pour this into a dish , swirl well to coat , set aside.
3. Beat ½ cup sugar and eggs together well in a bowl.
4. Mix the cornflour with a little milk ,add to the beaten egg.
5. Add the rest of the milk to this mixture, mix together beating well.
6. Add the nutmeg powder or vanilla essence to the mix, mix well, pour into the caramel coated dish , steam 15 minutes or till done.
. 7. Put in the fridge when cool and serve after 58 hours.
