In Today's Video, we are at a Turmeric (हल्दी) farm in Hyderabad. In this video, we have discussed everything about growing turmeric through hydroponics ( Soilless Farming ).

In This video we discuss the growing conditions for turmeric, the cost of growing turmeric in a polyhouse with soilless grow bags, the pest and diseases attacks, about seeds, nursery and planting material and irrigation systems, about curcumin percentage, revenues and profits.

Typically Turmeric is done in soil and in open fields but in this farm in Hyderabad we see how Turmeric is being done inside a polyhouse. This polyhouse gives a harvest of at maximum 70 tonnes and can easily generate a revenue of 340 lakhs/ acre.

If you are selling turmeric in powder form then you can earn up to 1 crore from 1 acre.
