Bangkok's international and main airport goes by a few names, such as, Suvarnabhumi Airport, ท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. It is Thai Airways home base but the airport gets a huge amount of foreign airlines visiting on a regular basis. With Thailand slowly opening back up for tourism, the airport is picking up in aircraft volume. Qatar Airways has began using A380s on their DOHBKK route again, showing confidence in the recovery of BKK.

This video in particular I filmed a week ago when I visited Bangkok. I stayed at the Miracle Airport Hotel and filmed this from their wonderful rooftop on a warm day. I was so impressed with the variety of aircraft and airlines. This angle in particular is wonderful as you have a great view of the final approach and touchdown as the plane basses by. I filmed these clips at 400mm as the rooftop is quite a distance away from the runway threshold. Thankfully the smog wasn't too thick and despite the distance, I was able to get clear footage of the touchdowns and final approaches of the planes!
