Anchorage Airport is by far the best airport for plane spotters in the world with a keen eye for old, classic planes. Geographically advantaged, freight airlines use Anchorage as a fuel stop for routes between Asia and North America that the aircrafts aren't able to fly directly to when fully loaded, such as Hong Kong New York.

This video features an afternoon array of wonderful action. The video starts off with some runway 07R arrivals, viewed from the infamous Kincaid park. This trail is known to be a hotspot for bears and elk, it's unsurprising to run into some unwanted company when reaching the clearing located beside the runway. Afterwards, we move to the main runway to capture some takeoffs of runway 33 towards sunset.
