#1 Jigsaw Blade for CLEAN PLYWOOD CUTS! (Try this Jigsaw Cutting Approach...)

Cutting plywood with a jigsaw can get messy. Most jigsaw blades have upwardpointing teeth, which means that the teeth rip aggressively on the upstroke.

The problem with is that the blades will often shred the top layer of lumber, especially sensitive plywood veneers!

There are several tips for avoiding this...but the easiest one by far is to use a REVERSE CUT blade, or DOWNCUT blade.

These jigsaw blades have downward pointing teeth, which are much gentler on the top layers of the board.

Keep in mind, you will still get blowout on the backside of the board. To avoid this on BOTH sides of the board, consider using a LAMINATE blade.

These jigsaw blades often have teeth pointing in both directions, designed to preserve both faces as much as possible.
