Approximately onethird of the U.S. population has blood sugar levels in the prediabetic range, with the majority being unaware. Such knowledge can enable them to make crucial dietary and lifestyle modifications, including weight loss, exercise, and stress reduction, that can halt or reverse the progress to type 2 diabetes.
