In this week's travel vlog we went on a DIY food tour in Marrakech and tried 10 of the most amazing Moroccan street foods.
We started our Marrakech street food tour with a few different Moroccan breakfast items, such as M'semen and Amlou spread, followed with Bissara at Fine Mama Restaurant. We then headed to Café et Patisserie Nawal for a deliciously sweet date smoothie. At Chez Omar we devoured a Sandwich Mixte and next door we had a surprising cheese Briwat. At Jemaa elFnaa we tried Cactus fruit for the first time. A Marrakech food tour would not be complete without taste testing some olives at Marché aux olive. We were amazed by the chicken Pastilla at Koulchi Zine combining sweet and savory flavors in a way we've never tasted before. We visited Patisserie Belkabir and sampled some tasty Moroccan sweets. After eating Hout Quari, a sardine burger that tastes like meat, we ended our tour with a bonus stop at Chez Lamine Hadj Mustapha where we ate a portion of juicy lamb and the craziest dish of the day: Sheep's head!
