The 1993 Viper Defender featured in the 1994 TV series Viper was a heavily modified version of the Dodge Viper RT/10, designed to be a hightech crimefighting vehicle. This version of the Viper could transform into an armored, weaponized vehicle capable of tackling any threat. Outfitted with advanced technology, including bulletproof armor, laser cannons, and missile launchers, the Defender was a key asset in the show’s futuristic setting. The transformation sequence from the standard Viper to the Defender involved mechanical modifications, adding a sleek, silver body kit, and an array of hidden weapons, making it look both menacing and futuristic. The Defender also featured an AI system that helped operate its sophisticated weaponry and defensive measures, and even included a drone (the Prowler) that launched from the trunk for aerial surveillance.
