10 Inspiring Botanical Books and How I Use Them in My Art Practice

Follow
Laura Horn Art

This is the second video in 'My Favorite Art Books' series, and this week I am sharing the botanical books that make me swoon and get me inspired to create. I often add botanical imagery into my art or, if working in a more abstract style, draw patterns from nature. For this reason, I have a wide variety of books with botanical photographs, illustrations, and paintings from other artists. I hope you enjoy the selection and the insights on how I have and continue to use these books as part of my art practice.

If you enjoy this video, let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear your thoughts and recommendations.

P.S. If you want to learn more about how I incorporate botanical ideas into my art, pop your name on the waitlist for the next intake of my 6week signature course, Modern Mixed Media.
