Here are 10 common Latin grooves played on the drum kit.
The idea of many Latin time patterns is to imitate a entire percussion section (shakers, congas, timbales etc.) using the standard drum kit. A cowbell might be necessary!
As with most drum beats, there are many variations upon each of these patterns the videos shows just one pattern for each so you get the basic idea.
