We've put 1000 miles on our supercharged VR6 Corrado and it's time to review the driving experience so far... what could possibly go wrong?

by the way, DON'T DRIVE OFF CLIFFS!! (Trust me on this one)

This is a review of the Stage 1 ZEngineering supercharger kit, sold by VF Engineering in the USA in the early 2000s, currently produced by RUF Germany. It is a low boost (68psi) setup on the 12V AAA VR6 motor. The motor in this Corrado is the OBD1 distributor model, and this particular example has been built with 11:1 compression ratio, Mk4 metal headgasket, ported big valve head, Autotech cams, 2.9L intake manifold & throttlebody, 30# injectors, 4bar fuel pressure regulator, and Momo Corse 2.5" catback exhaust.

I hope this video gives you something to amuse you for a little while. Why not check out some of my other videos while you've got some idle time on your hands?

Make sure to like, subscribe, and share if you are a car enthusiast who enjoys working on your own car as a shade tree mechanic or fellow grease monkey, or if you just enjoy watching the misery of trying to keep one of the most notoriously unreliable cars ever produced in running condition!

Not even Ratarossa, Scotty Kilmer, The Car Wizard, Johnny the Car Ninja, Hoovie or Tavarish would dare tackle the insanity of resurrecting and modifying a 206,000 mile Corrado VR6 at the same time as a vintage Fiat Spider and maintaining a 230,000 mile 1.8t Jetta while tooling around in a 166,000 mile Mk4 R32 daily driver!! But I'm a special kind of crazy.

If you have an .:R32, Corrado, Fiat, Alfa, or some other weird quirky car that is a challenge to keep on the road, please share in the comments!
