After 11 months of remodeling and renovating my dream home in Kyiv, Ukraine, it was time to buy furniture, and all of the decorations and home goods to make it truly my home. The dining room table and chairs were made by Sandalyeci, the couch from a local furniture maker in Ukraine, and the decor was a mix of JYSK, IKEA, and English Home.

Little did I know that before I would ever put the finishing touches on the apartment, or have a proper house warming party, that Russia would invade Kyiv and it would no longer be safe to stay.
