Microsoft Word is undoubtedly the most successful word processor and the defacto standard, at least in the business domain.

But this only is true as long as you are talking about Microsoft Word on a Windows machine. On an iPad, the Battle Royal between Word and its biggest competitor, Apples own Pages app, is a completely different game.

When I started comparing both apps on an iPad, I was blown away in how many categories Apple Pages smokes Microsoft Word. And not only in obscure categories, but in main ones, where you expect Microsoft to lead.
