The title isn’t a joke. New Pilots wanting to own an airplane won’t know what insurance costs until they actually purchase an airplane. When I was taking delivery I was quoted $120k a year for my insurance premium. I discuss what I did to lower that to a more reasonable figure and what my mistakes were and how I would have handled it knowing what I know now!
