This is my own medical school application that made the cut. Here’s everything I submitted, broken down into my core themes of teaching/mentorship, fitness/basketball & underserved communities.

I share my philosophy “YONO” or “You Only Need One” showing how building a relationship with my TA ultimately led to one of my strongest letters of recommendations, shadowing & 3 total publications.

Then, I share how I spent over 600 hours over 4 different extracurricular activities and how the majority, 343 hours of those, were a complete waste doing hospital volunteering.
