CREATIVE NAPKINFOLDING TECHNIQUES

The napkinfolding techniques are something fun and useful for holiday dinners. Every girl should know have couple napkin folds to host dinner parties

We will learn the following creating napkin folding techniques: Basic Pouch Fold, The French Pleat Napkin, The Pinwheel Napkin, The Heart Napkin Fold, The Chef’s Hat, The Artichoke and other.
Let’s start with the easiest techniques:
The envelope napkin fold is very classic and extremely quick to fold.
The steps are:
Iron the cotton and linen napkin flat.
Fold the napkin in half
On the righthand side of the napkin, fold both corner edges towards the center to form two triangles
Fold the left side of the napkin over in half to meet the right
Take both triangle layers and fold both over to create the napkin envelop fold
Basic Pouch Fold
Lay the napkin facedown
Fold the napkin in half and orient the open end toward you
Fold the napkin into quarters
Fold the topmost layer of the napkin in half diagonally and press it down
Turn the napkin over so that the open corner is now facing away and to the right
Fold the rightside back about 1/3 of the way and press it down
Fold the leftside back also about 1/3 of the way and press
Flip it over, straighten it up and insert those shiny eating instruments. Voila!
