"Head of the Class" was a popular American sitcom that graced our television screens from 1986 to 1991, captivating audiences with its humor and relatable characters. The show was the brainchild of Richard Eustis and Michael Elias, with Elias drawing inspiration from his own experiences as a substitute teacher in New York City while pursuing his dreams of becoming an actor. Set primarily in the classrooms of Millard Fillmore High School, the series focused on the academically gifted students enrolled in the Individual Honors Program (IHP). As we reflect on the nearly four decades that have passed since the original series aired, it becomes evident that the cast members have experienced great success in their respective careers.
