At least 16 people have been killed and dozens injured in an Israeli air strike on an UNRWA school in central Gaza, according to the Gaza health ministry. Thousands of displaced Palestinians were sheltering in the school in AlNuseirat. Israel says the strike targeted Hamas militants operating in the area.
