This was a great engine to restore. Unlike many of these Alamo's painted blue from the factory or their Rock Island cousins that were painted brown, this one, built for a company in Portland Oregon was originally painted black. This one has a Webster tripolar magnito installed. All the gas lines have been remade to match the factory design. When the new piston rings break in I will slow it down a lot more so you can really notice the hit and miss coasting of the large flywheels.
