1933 witnessed one of the most active Atlantic hurricane seasons of the presatellite era, and it remains one of the busiest ever recorded in the basin. Out of the twenty tropical storms that formed during this season, six became major hurricanes, all of which eventually went on to affect the United States, Mexico, Cuba, and the Bahamas.
Coming nearly a decade after the original release, Force Thirteen's second iteration of this animation accounts for NOAA's 2013 reanalysis of the season and the addition of three tropical depressions by Force Thirteen's own reanalysis project.
