In the spring of 1940, Marshal Pétain requested an armistice from Germany. Hitler then set about staging the great ceremony of Rethondes' revenge, with a view to humiliating France. Secretly, he had the negotiations recorded.
A unique copy engraved on discs will be given to Marshal Pétain. The copy disappears in the chaos from the end of the war until today. The recent discovery of this copy of the recordings allows us to tell this bitter episode from the inside and for the first time.
