The clutch installed was an NOS 2 speed clutch kit that produced a chatter at slow speed. This round the clutch was built with the layer style carrier plate, original 1958 primary clutch shoes and drum with an NOS bearing, and the outer drum from the kit.

Not perfect but sounds better. The early style primary clutch is under spring tension and takes longer to get to full speed.
