Long overdue and much anticipated, backed by popular demand amongst you, my valued viewers, I have launched the very first episode of MATCHBOX YEAR BY YEAR video series!
In this exciting series, I will be showcasing my entire collection of Matchbox toy cars and trucks as we explore a vintage Lesney Matchbox collector catalogue, identifying every model produced during the year indicated in my video title.
Matchbox toys have been produced since 1948, however my collection is too sparse before the year 1964, so that's where I am starting my video series, with each subsequent year coming out as the next episode. I don't have a complete collection of every vehicle ever produced, and many of mine are playworn, damaged, and in general full of character! This will be a fun way to explore your collection as well, and see that no matter the condition, vintage diecast cars are always collectible and very cool!
